{the wife & mom}
I grew up in AZ and UT in all types of gyms and ended up playing volleyball in college where I met my other half in none other than......the weight room. He was playing football which ended up taking us to Miami for a year where he played for the Dolphins and then 4 other teams the following year...{craziness}. I was always more of a city girl who was never that interested in animals or the country life. Now, I am the wife of a super handsome future large animal vet (in school) who makes me better day in and day out. We will definitely be living the country life once he graduates vet school and honestly, after starting our family, I couldn't be more relieved. I am the momma to a spicy red headed 2 year old girl (who needs PLENTY of room to roam) and a handsome little man {also red headed.... can you believe we're 2 for 2?!}. I have always planned on staying home with my babies and am so blessed to be able to do that and something I love on the side---photography. I love lounging around in my comfies, watching movies, and playing with my family. Holidays are my all time favorite simply because of all the family traditions. I'm a sucker for any love story... and believe that fairytale endings really do come true.
{the photographer}
Like most people doing this, I've loved photography since I was a little one.... except before I loved being in front of the camera--- and now I'd rather be behind it! After having babies, I realized how fast time flies by us.... as a photographer, I have the ability to freeze that precious time and I LOVE THAT! I'm a natural light photographer with intentions of capturing 'real' life as it happens rather than awkward poses and cheesy smiles. {i just pictured mine...yikes!} This is a journey I plan on being on for a long time and it excites me to know that I will always be able to learn and grow. I want those I photograph to enjoy their experience with me... laughing, loving, and leaving those memories on camera so they can cherish them forever. Pictures really do speak a thousand words and my goal as your photographer is to get those out of you without ever having to say a single one of them.
