lil' miss gia - utah family photographer

meet lil' gia. she's six months old and cute as can be. her aunt is one of my good friends.... so she gave me a call and i got to crash their family party in order to squeeze in a fun mini session with this cutie. they were in town from texas for a few days and i'm so glad the stars aligned and i was able to meet this little babe. 

mother's day CONTEST

alright--- i've been wanting to do a fun contest to spice things up a bit... since mother's day is this weekend, i figured... what the heck?! we might as well celebrate it! moms are some of the most important people in our lives... so in honor of your moms AND being wonderful moms... the lucky winner of this contest will win a free session with me! 

What exactly is up for grabs??

-{Any type} hour long session {UT}****{see below if you don't live in UT}

-20 hi-res pictures on cd w/ copyright release

-and to celebrate moms: a free 8x10 OR 11x14 of your favorite shot

Who can enter the contest?

-Anyone who has a mom:)

-Any MOM 
{Session will take place in UT in June or July}
OR
{in Oklahoma once we move in August}
OR
{in AZ the next time we come visit}

How to enter:

-email me the ONE picture you want to enter into the contest {either of you & your mom OR you & your kids--- for you ladies of course}

-i will post all of the pictures into my 'mother's day contest' album on my photography facebook page on Friday, May 6th {or whenever you send them to me.. .but the longer your picture is in the album, the longer it has to be 'LIKED'}.

-the picture with the most 'LIKES' at the end of the contest will win the free session of your choice!

****-if you don't live in the Utah area... you can STILL enter and GIFT the session to a friend/family that does if you are the lucky winner. SO STILL ENTER!

-In order to get people to 'LIKE' your photo... you must have people first 'LIKE' my photography page... and then also 'LIKE' your photo. 
{-best way to do this is to click 'suggest this' under my photog profile pic.}

-comments are always nice and sweet... but only the likes will count towards the winning photo.

my little man - utah newborn photographer

i thought it would be pretty easy getting knox's newborn pics done since i'm both mama and photographer. i was definitely wrong though. not only did i just not feel like taking the pics after giving birth, i also forgot that i would be without the extra two hands you normally have from the baby's mama. i waited til jd could come with me to help, but most of the time he was chasing jonnie around trying to keep her entertained. so we just ended up doing a quick session but i think we landed a few cute ones so i'm a happy mama. i sure do love my little man.

summer mini sessions {updated dates}

i know it might seem a tad early to announce SUMMER mini sessions when there is still 10 inches of snow on the ground here in montana. BUT--- baby guy will be making his debut here in the next couple weeks and i just wanted to get it all announced before life gets crazy around here.

 these mini sessions are perfect for a small family session--- especially those just looking to update their walls with a more recent family photograph. they are also great for a children's/sibling shoot to catch the fun stages that they are in, or even a baby session for those same reasons. you would be surprised at how many precious / different pictures we can get in just 30 minutes. a maternity session would also work for these as well.  feel free to bring different outfits to change into... just practice before the big day so you can change in a jiffy! locations will depend on the day and preference of those who book. i'm also thinking about adding an additional day in may in UT if that would work better for anyone as well, let me know.

baby Z - utah newborn photographer

this little guy didn't want to miss out on any of the action... we got lots of cute awake shots and after he filled his tummy we were able to get some cute snoozin' ones too. can you believe how cute this kid is?! he was TINY. since jonnie came out twice his size, it was crazy holding such a little babe. here are some of my faves from the shoot. there are more on my photography facebook page so go 'like' it and see more there!
