Happy 4th of July - utah family photographer

i love love love this holiday! while i was playing with haley in the orchard we thought it would be fun to do some flag photos for the big day. besides the fact that she's a total babe, i love the americana feel these have to them. hope everyone has a fun time lighting/watching fireworks with family and friends. i know i am!

this is haley--- who just so happens to be my cute sister. she's gonna be a sophomore next year and a vykelle {viewmont's dancers} so we decided to do a fun summer session to help her remember this fun time in her life. here are some of my favorites of this cute girl.

mother's day CONTEST

alright--- i've been wanting to do a fun contest to spice things up a bit... since mother's day is this weekend, i figured... what the heck?! we might as well celebrate it! moms are some of the most important people in our lives... so in honor of your moms AND being wonderful moms... the lucky winner of this contest will win a free session with me! 

What exactly is up for grabs??

-{Any type} hour long session {UT}****{see below if you don't live in UT}

-20 hi-res pictures on cd w/ copyright release

-and to celebrate moms: a free 8x10 OR 11x14 of your favorite shot

Who can enter the contest?

-Anyone who has a mom:)

-Any MOM 
{Session will take place in UT in June or July}
OR
{in Oklahoma once we move in August}
OR
{in AZ the next time we come visit}

How to enter:

-email me the ONE picture you want to enter into the contest {either of you & your mom OR you & your kids--- for you ladies of course}

-i will post all of the pictures into my 'mother's day contest' album on my photography facebook page on Friday, May 6th {or whenever you send them to me.. .but the longer your picture is in the album, the longer it has to be 'LIKED'}.

-the picture with the most 'LIKES' at the end of the contest will win the free session of your choice!

****-if you don't live in the Utah area... you can STILL enter and GIFT the session to a friend/family that does if you are the lucky winner. SO STILL ENTER!

-In order to get people to 'LIKE' your photo... you must have people first 'LIKE' my photography page... and then also 'LIKE' your photo. 
{-best way to do this is to click 'suggest this' under my photog profile pic.}

-comments are always nice and sweet... but only the likes will count towards the winning photo. 

Contest will officially start FRIDAY, MAY 6th {as long as I have enough people entered... so tell all your friends!}

summer mini sessions {updated dates}

i know it might seem a tad early to announce SUMMER mini sessions when there is still 10 inches of snow on the ground here in montana. BUT--- baby guy will be making his debut here in the next couple weeks and i just wanted to get it all announced before life gets crazy around here.

 these mini sessions are perfect for a small family session--- especially those just looking to update their walls with a more recent family photograph. they are also great for a children's/sibling shoot to catch the fun stages that they are in, or even a baby session for those same reasons. you would be surprised at how many precious / different pictures we can get in just 30 minutes. a maternity session would also work for these as well.  feel free to bring different outfits to change into... just practice before the big day so you can change in a jiffy! locations will depend on the day and preference of those who book. i'm also thinking about adding an additional day in may in UT if that would work better for anyone as well, let me know.

Lindsey & co. family / engagements - utah family photographer

I'm finally getting around to posting the rest of this session on the blog... it has been a crazy few days to say the least. Today is my Jonnie Belle's 2nd b-day so it's been a fun time around here:)

I loved shooting these cuties though! They had some fun ideas and were willing to do just about anything I said as well so that's always nice:) Enjoy these darlings! And congrats again to Lindsey & Justin!

here's the rest of SOME of my favorites from haley's session. i had the hardest time choosing which ones to go on here but i think these will suffice. which ones are your favorites?? ALSO on a side note... i will only be offering the 1/2 off session fee w/ FREE cd of fully edited images {$100 for everything} for a few more weeks so don't miss out if you are thinking about scheduling! once i have the baby in april i'll be out of commission for a little bit and when i come back prices will be back to the regulars w/o the specials so take advantage while you still can! i only have a couple more sessions open for when I come down this weekend through the 17th... let me know asap if you'd like to fill one of those. let me introduce you to my little bro---Dutcher. i might be a little biased but i think he is just about the cutest thing around.... especially with those darling eyes and delicious freckles. he and my sister let me have some fun with them when i was down in utah last weekend... but we'll get to her tomorrow:) ladies take a look at this cutie! good thing he's only 10! he might be a heart breaker someday- this one.

i have finally gotten my butt in gear and am gettin this photography show on the road! jonnie is luckily still having fun with me but i'm sure she will get sick of photoshoots soon so i better expand my clientele a bit:) right now i'm looking for anyone who wants to have fun behind the camera- newborns, children, couples, cute lil pregnant mamas, seniors, anyone really! let me know if you want to book a session and for a limited time it is FREE as i build my portfolio!! i'll even give you a disc of our best shots fully edited for your time with a copyright release so you can print anytime, any place:) i'm in montana most of the time until we move to oklahoma in august but will be in utah as well so utah friends let me know and we'll set something up when i'm down visiting. obviously space and time is limited so first come first serve:) don't miss out on the fun!
 here is a little fun i had with my cute sister haley. i can't wait to get back down to utah so i can take some more of her. she is cute as a button and hilarious to boot! always makes for a fun time with this lil lady.
